This site is under construction.Attorney Andrew M. Lovett represents parties exploring business opportunities in Chinese markets. He also assists Chinese companies pursue expansion in the United States. Through informal talks, memoranda of understanding, letters of intent, and formal contract negotiation, Mr. Lovett advances clients' interests in the booming Chinese economy and the continually rewarding US distribution network.
Attorney Lovett has negotiated a wide variety of technology-driven and media-related agreements, as well as nondisclosure, non-compete and agreements. He also has experience in legal review of marketing collateral materials, requests for proposals, technical white papers, software use and evaluation licenses, and trademark, name and logo use licenses.
In the course of gaining these experiences, Attorney Lovett received formal training in network topology, packet switching technology, internetworking protocol, dense wave division multiplexing, digital subscriber line, virtual private network technology, and fiber optic transmission.
Mr. Lovett is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. Upon graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in 1989, he has worked at a major Boston law firm, as a consultant at a top law firm in Taipei, Taiwan, in Administrative Law with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and as a Contracts Manager with an internet infrastructure vendor.
Since 1990, attorney Lovett has closely monitored the convergence of computer, telecommunications, and media technologies that is driving the Network Economy revolution, and has tracked rapidly changing legal developments arising from that convergence. Owing to Mr. Lovett's fluency in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), he sees new media projects in Chinese-speaking markets throughout the world as a tremendous growth area.
